How the Process Works

Customized to your research needs, study design and execution at NSF follow a specific process. Stages typically include:

  • Project consulting: Expert scientists work with you to understand your needs and develop your customized science-to-market roadmap.
  • Project planning: We craft a custom research plan with you, including study design, identifying test methods to follow and challenge microorganisms to test against. 
  • Testing: The project plan is implemented in our accredited laboratories with rigorous quality control systems in place.
  • Third-party results: NSF provides a final, test-only report tailored to your measurement needs.
